So then, less than a month to go and who has Bates spent any money on? Collins and the rest have all been free? Disapointed we missed out on Hooper although i'm not surprised with it being a £1mill fee.. the way it's looking i'd say mid table at best, which tbh wouldn't be a disaster but I think we could do better with a major signing or 2..

How much money are Boro spending as well !!??

very pleased, i rate him. he has had to work with one hand tied behind his back. it would be nice if he was given a bit of money to spend.

Bit different financial scenarios between the 2 clubs though, they are into the 2nd year of PL parachute payments and we've just had 3 years of L1. It will be interesting to see how much they spend next year if they miss out on promotion again......
