No need for the sarcasm was there really? I just can't see Gary Hetherington releasing them from the payroll, freeing up the cap space and then not using it. He's too shrewd an operator for that.

Even after Burgess voice his anger in the Media? The writing was on the wall after that. The situation is less than ideal but it had to happen. Leeds will no doubt be looking to see who if anyone with quality is available now, if not no worries we'll have to wait until next season to bring in some quality.
