Yes, but in terms of units sold for an 'indie' band Coldplay would be up there. I don't think the Libertines would ever have shifted as many records in the States. Neither are really to my taste though.

None I would necessarily describe as band of the 00s. Mass appeal and critical acclaim rarely go hand in hand these days.
