Suppose generally it’s hard to get someone in when you’ve no quota spot, as good English players will nearly always command a premium and a transfer fee. Even harder when it’s in season, and our form was/is iffy at best.

Should mean we still have lots to play with next year tho while also sorting out the likes of Sinfield and O’Connor like we’ve seen in recent weeks.

He was so out of form that he was replaced by a young kid who normally plays backrow iirc?.

Assuming you are Wigan fan. Strengths: He supports breaks very well down the middle and he also has a decent kicking game with the odd 40/20 in him. Weaknesses: Soft in contact defending in the middle and one of the reasons the Leeds pack were easily rolled over a number of seasons. His distribution and selection of pass is also no better than average. Look, he'll have some great moments for you, but he's far from a great player. Good luck to him though.

Why Leeming left very quickly where would we get another 9 from?

Not necessarily another 9. Surely someone who could have added more quality. Leeming was a high earner…..

Leeming is a good player he'll go well with a coach who will back him,he bummed out at the Rhinos because he believed in himself! Also see Walters.

Kayal Iro is rumoured to want out of the Sharks due to lack of first team opportunities. He could be worth pursuing.

I see Luke Brooks has signed for Manly on a 4yr deal, putting that rumour to bed. The interesting part of that is it now looks like Josh Shuster is no longer wanted. Only 22 and bags of potential, but he would be a far more realistic NRL signing than Brooks.... May benefit from being out of the NRL spotlight for a bit too.
