Did anyone else see GH chatting to Austin and Sezer in the changing rooms after the match?
I suspect a deal might be done at some point.
Personally I would offer Austin one year with an option for a second. Still not sure if two years is too long; a lot can change with a player's form.
We don't know who (if anyone) Leeds have lined up to refresh our spine. It looks good when all the first choice players are fit, but I'm nervous with Myler, Sezer and Austin all well into their 30s and prone to spending time on the sidelines. It's a risky proposition to build a more sustainable title bid.
If there's a way to keep Sezer for another year I might be tempted, if he keeps playing regularly and as directly as we've seen in the last two games. Keeping him around for continuity's sake, perhaps on reduced terms, could be very shrewd.
If the team manage to carry on playing more consistently, too many wholesale changes to the squad could be detrimental to next season. If you had the 'pleasure' of supporting Leeds through the Laughton, Bell and Lance years you'll know what I mean - basically the 'Warrington way' since 2006 or so.
