Glad it fell through, if it was true at all, as he isn't worth 500k. Would love him to sign for us though.

Do you believe it, no way would GH pay that and I'm not sure Pearson would turn that amount of money down, could sign 2 top NRL players using the marquee rule with that or sign 3 top UK players from the likes of Wakey/Salford etc.

You would be better offering 150k for Hastings or Lui, I'm sure Salford would sell

Thinking about this some more, I’d rather re-sign Schoey.

Seriously, I can’t think of a single player in the UK that I’d pay that much for, and there are many we need more than a maverick halfback. In the halves we need an organiser, but more important is fixing the pack. Our front and back row options are largely sub standard, and without fixing that first any halfback would struggle.

Oh and we need at least one big fast winger.

Theres some strong rumours Leeds are looking to do a player swap involving Tui. I understand its for a half back. Drinkwater or Hastings

You be mad to sign Drinkwater, massively overrated, had 10 good games in his SL career.

Chris Atkin at Rovers would be a decent shout.

If it's for Hastings there would be a huge wedge of cash going to Salford as well. Given Tui's wage demands I cannot think any SL club would put much or any value on him.
