Wouldn't be surprised to see Hooley move on, he's 25 next month and doesn't seem to be making any inroads to the first team even when there were injuries in the backs.

I think he was unlucky on his debut. weather, passive defence etc but a strange signing.

Walker and Johnson won't be coming to England. One of the most highly regarded young halves will have a queue of nrl teams waiting for him. Johnson left a Sydney club to return to NZ to be with his family. Townsend is the only possibility but he will more likely go to catalans. If any of those sign for Leeds, I will eat my rhinos cap

Think he's had a good start to his leeds career and at times very good though 4 years for a 29 Yr old overseas seems long. Maybe it helps keep the salery down with a longer term offer.

I think it's good to get him tied down, he's been excellent, a real threat every time he runs.

4 years may seem long but as Seth says there could be some clever Salary Cap management involved with giving him some security of a long term deal.

When does James Macdonall deal run out Id be extending that one pretty sharpish too.

It's his last big contract and we can't afford to lose a centre / winger atm.
