Put it this way, if we were to pay 50k and someone else paid 75k (assuming he’s on 125k), then we get 75k to close a deal on a prop or hooker. Then he signs a new deal with his new employer a year later. Happens regularly in the NRL.

If this was a loan deal where Myler could be recalled in an injury crisis I’d be happy to go with a deal like this

I can't even imagine a crisis bad enough that I'd want Myler to play for us ever again.

My imagination can't even summon something ridiculous up. It's just not possible.

Doubt it, haven’t most of them been out of contract, or retiring? It’s possible in one or two cases though.

If we are going after RU players then imo it should be Courtney Lawes or Jonny May.

Courtney Laws would be an awful RL player. I’d be after Tuilagi, Vunipola and/or Farrell.
