Danny Levi a target according to Matt Shaw - Rohan Smith is a big fan of his, Ive heard him talk him up before.

He’s a cracking player, no coincidence Hudds are playing worse this year without him, not sure where that leaves Johnson though?

Yeah it's not an area Id be really keen on us strengthening despite how good he can be.

I kind of agree but our first choice hookers consist of a youmg player who hasn’t played a full season in that position and one who is only just breaking into the first team, maybe this was the idea behind extending their contracts bringing in Levi for a couple of seasons to bring them fully through?

Not a player in a position I thought we were in for, but I'd rather us use our quota spots on players who make a real difference, so spine players trump problem child prop forwards any day of the week. Fascinated to see what happens with Austin.

I like Levi.
But we're losing Walters and Tetevano.
We must get a top level front rower.
If we use quota spots on a HB and a 9, then we must have a non-quota prop lined up.
Sutton? Thompson? Burgess???

Sutton the only realistic option from those three. Personally I think he'd do just fine, but haven't seen anything regarding him coming home.

Maybe.
I just think the Lancs players are more likely to come back to Lancs clubs.
Tends to be the way.
Be great if we could get Burgess for a couple of year, but unlikely.

It's a matthew shaw rumour though so could also go in the bin with his others where he's just linking smiths past players.

I’d be surprised, especially with the performances O’Connor is putting in at the moment.
