So... if Zak is found guilty, Leeds Rhinos fans will abandon the sport completely.

Are the RFL taking note? Is that a risk worth taking?

I have watched the video a few times & i can say I haven't got a clue what Zak said.
The RFL should leave this be.

I thought they had just stated an incident is under investigation. Everyone seems to know its Zak that is the player concerned but if the RFL have not made that public maybe Leeds saying nothing at this stage is the correct thing to do.

It's a valid point. But these rumours have being ongoing since Saturday, Hardaker himself hit out earlier on twitter, and surely the club must know of that. They must know how low he is feeling. The club should have acted by now publicly., IMO of course.

I don't think the club should rush out a statement as soon as. They would be I imagine talking to the player, the RFL , looking at the video.

An immediate statement backing Hardaker will only lead to criticism from others and won't actually do anything to quell the baying mob, probably more fuel it.

Many of us will remember similar incidents.

Fortunately the vast majority of the population have moved on from those days, I suggest you try at least catching up with them

So it was remarked about by Sky commentators after a try was scored and they discussed it during the game and it drew the attention of the RFL? So if the game was not televised nothing would be investigated

Yes, it's a bit like: if you decided to knock one out in the privacy of your bedroom, you would be fine. If you decided to do similar in the middle of Briggate on a Saturday afternoon, there would probably be unwelcome consequencesd

next time he should chicken way flanagans knee, maybe cause a career ending injury. nobody will think the worse of him and he may get a 3 game ban.
