I think our main rivals for him are Southampton from what i've read on the Athletic and WalesOnline (reposted by Graham Smyth). Leicester have backed off as can't shift Ienacho (can't recall how you spell his name). Sounds like Sheff U want Archer.. we've ramped up interest and are in direct negotiations.. they really need to get this done or someone of his Ilk. Sky saying we're looking at Painstsil too from Genk (he's a 10/winger i believe..). Kamara deal close.

The kid from Brighton would be a good signing.
Carlos Tevez said he reminds him a lot like Messi at his age.
Archer has a clause in his contract that Sheff Utd will sell him back to Villa at 3 million more than what they paid for him (18 million) if they get relegated.

It's probably his agent trying to get more money out of Marselie. The last Leeds exclusive Romano had was Michut, and that went nowhere.
