My initial post was a somewhat tongue in cheek attempt to generate some further debate not a definitive suggestion or comment.
I like the Shenton suggestion but feel that the club had identified a need to bolster the pack & I'm not convinced that has really changed.

TBF the fans absolutely hate him with a passion so I dont think he will ever be welcomed back to ANZ with open arms.

One other thing the quote from GH does is clear up the money issue, as he says it's unfair on Eastwood to not be earning. Going by that, I'd say we haven't paid him anything.

Which is fair enough IMO. I know it's not the lads fault (well, maybe it is ) for not being over here but in normal life you wouldnt get paid if you couldnt show up at work so why should he.

Indeed. Although in this case it does have the added benefit to the club of freeing up some more cap money.

Wonder if we should spend it on a centre, prop or second-rower?
