Don't forget we've signed caroll,webb,ali and mckenna who was an aussie internatinal when we signed him.
There are pro's and cons in every teams over-seas recruitment so lets wait and see what happens IF he has actually signed anyway.

If you all about local teams for local people then I recommend you stop watching super league and just watch the world cup where you can select an all English team. Ok I’m aware we now have Maurie posing as an Englishmen technically and many others posing as different nationalities to play for their favoured teams.

But still you have to be English by either birthplace or citizenship to play for England. Not wanting someone in a club because of his nationality borderlines racism IMO. Like I said if youw ant an all English team then go watch England at the end of the year and not this club competition that allows all nationalities to play for anyone.



I’m sure your disappointed we have to keep players such as Brent Webb, Scott Donald and Kylie Leuluai to name a few. Please just go and watch England international games if you don’t like Australians or any other nationality in your squads!

Leeds Rhinos do produce enough English quality in Danny McGuire, Rob Burrow, Kevin Sinfield and Lee Smith to name a few. Them four Leeds Rhinos players alone would fit into any team world over in rugby league as would many English rugby league players we have over here.

Gold Coast Titans whom are currently residing third in the league which is probably thanks to Brett Delaney been in the squad. I bet you can find a ton more worse players than Brett about in the NRL. I’ll judge him at the end of his time at the Rhinos rather than the beginning.

Its fine to be disappointed that Leeds haven’t signed a player of your standards but your been very harsh in judging him before he even goes on the field for us. Personally as for the Youngsters coming through in the last few years at Rhinos the only ones I’ve been impressed by are Ryan Hall and Luke Burgess.

The rest for me are just good enough to make the team and do the job. As long as we are top or the tree or near it I don’t care who wears the blue and amber for Leeds!



Nope but this is where I think peoples dislike for clubs signing ‘average’ overseas players stem from. Placing the blame game on the clubs hands is wrong IMO. Besides England as a team didn’t turn up in that competition. If we did I recon it could have been a whole different storyline. Lets wait and see what happens in this quad nations.

The guy cant be too bad, he starts every game for the Titans who are 3rd in the NRL and he played for NSW City in the City-Country game last year and he's only 23 years old.
