Eastwood plays as an interchange prop in the NRL (or at least he did before Setanta went t1ts up) and that is the role I would most expect him to fill at Leeds (if he ever gets here).

Leuluai been offered a two year extension (this season) could be linked to the Eastwood Visa problems.

Eastwood is a proven, young, NRL experienced World Cup winner and an outstanding prop, Peacock is on the slide, if you straw poled NRL coaches the vast majority would take Eastwood.

He has also been very good for the Dogs whilst Peacock has been handed his backside by a number of opposing props this season, the latest being Morley and to a lesser extent Carvell.

You keep believing everything Leeds is the best though, I wish I could see in your rose tinted vision!!

Another interchange player?, will end up with more blokes on the bench than starting.
How did the 10 pint a night brigade get on before the interchange & bloodbin rule came in?

I would prefer his rose tint to your myopic monocal....

Peacock v Morley .....a honourable draw on the day clearly.

That would be a great signing to boost the side come the play offs

But if he was signed for one season by the Bulldogs, then if they are in the play-offs,then wouldn't he still be contracted to them?

His contract with the Bulldogs would have been signed and sorted based on the outstanding contract in force, namely the one with Leeds. So the chances are Leeds allowed him to sign another contract on the basis of his existing and current Leeds contract still been in force. As such, if the club wanted him to come, he would have to come and the Bulldogs and Eastwood would have no choice.

I am sure it will come down to our injury status as to whether Leeds call him up to play before next season.

Stats 'n' that

I’m well aware that JP has a high work rate but these stats really drive home how much.

Mozza is no slouch and is probably still nailed to the England 8 shirt but JP has monster stats in comparison.

Even IF he is ‘on the slide’ or losing his edge he could still afford to slide for fekking long time before he was to the standard of your run of the mill Kirke or even Carvell.

Eastwood can't come over for the play offs as he wasn't registered in time for the deadline. No one can sign players for the play offs now.

I thought they had scrapped the deadline for everything but the CC?
