Apologies if I misinterpreted what you were saying, but it seemed that you were implying it should be illegal, or it was in other codes. I was saying that it was an accidental clash of heads in a collision, and there's no way that should be illegal, or that outlawing a shoulder charge will prevent clashing of heads.
It's like saying you shouldn't be able to tackle from behind if you're the second man in because you could break somebody's trailing leg - just as Richard Owen found out in the third game of the season - ending his season and putting a highly promising career off the rails for a few years.
It's just one of those things that happens in a heavy contact sport, it's all dangerous - and that's part of its charm.
