What an odd comment. He doesn't worry me, I don't have to defend against him. I'm sure he has the coaches of most opposing teams worried, I haven't seen anybody here deny his ability. I still agree that he isn't a full back, and if I were Wigan's coach I'd want him where he gets his hands on the ball as often as possible.

As for England, we don't actually have a full back who's brilliant in attack and defence, so we have to choose one or the other. I think, however, that Sam Tomkins will probably be at 6 for England in November.

Makes me laugh defending Bailey over the tomkins, I think sam is a little over rated due to I feel his strength but that will come and so will a Wigan victory this weekend

Sam is very good going forward of that i have no doubt, but if Eastwood gets the ball all he will have is stud marks from where he has run over him and i think Joel like Bailey can sometimes be a bit of a liability but teams need a player that will rub the opposing teams up the wrong way. Some games it works and some it doesn't but away fans love to h8 Big Bailey. lol

J.Tomkins 33 penatlies and 2 yellow cards this season are far worse than Bailey's 19 penalties:)

Or you could look over 3 seasons and see that they both have the same kind of disciplinary record compared to appearances and penalties.

Bailey shouldn't be spocken in the same context to either of the Tomkins brothers he will never be near the England team and rightly so.

Bailey is a cowardly poo bag. Usually tries to bully the smallest oposing player then hides when the big boys come looking for him and he has more cheapshot tactics than any RL player I can think of,utter tosspot.
