Austin's injury sounds slightly odd.

He didn't play in either of the other games in France this year either, maybe his famously expired passport still hasn't been renewed.

Smith said calf strain at his presser. Not surprised he's picking up the odd injury as almost all his touches involve taking it up to - and often through- big forwards in the middle of the field. We've scarcely created him an overlap all season. One of the things Smith will have to rectify next year if we are to challenge the big boys.

That's an integral part of the wingers game.
Don't see Handley getting injured running into the big guys.
Very frustrating.

That's all he does though. He gets through the tackle pretty much every time and his likely to come up with a big break, out of nothing, every game. I'm a big Handley fan but I wish more play came down Fusitua's flank. He'd score loads.
