So you've just said that you believe the Levi rumour to be true, and to be fair it does sound like it could be, is that not Leeds doing things?
No, it's an example of us failing to get things done, isn't it? Look, I really want to believe GH has a master plan, but other than blind faith I just don't see any evidence. At other clubs, signings have been announced and the rumours are almost open secrets within the game. I'll buy a season ticket till until I'm a decrepit old fogey, but I can quite understand why other fans might be tempted to let theirs lapse. We've been a long time in the wilderness now. This was the season where we'd have cap space to try and put that right, and so far (apart from Goudemand) there is nothing to report. If it was 2007 we could all be justified in thinking GH had it all in hand. It's not though - recruitment over the last decade has largely missed the mark and that has been reflected on the pitch.

It's not season ticket renewal time though so not sure what you mean.
Some signings might be being kept back until it is season ticket renewal time, as I keep saying the announcement of signings is a strategic thing and also often not something the club can control, clubs can't and shouldn't announce signings without the consent of all parties, and that could include the club that holds the registration of the player.
We've had a few bad years (2016, 2018 and 2019) but we haven't been a long time in the wilderness, we were in the GF last year, Bearing in Mind that in that time Catalans were in a Million Pound Game and Warrington have had a few shocking seasons as well.
You mention over the last decade.
In the last decade we've won 3 challenge cup finals, 2 Grand Finals, appeared in another GF.
Its hard when you know we needed a good old bottoming and getting rid of some of the accumulated deadwood we've got on staff. The club has done this and is in the process of getting rid of more this off season giving us some more cap space etc to play with.
Sure I suppose it does look bad when Wigan are going out all guns blazing and announcing signings etc, but us going out and signing the first blokes with aussie accents just isnt the way to go and is partly why we are so far in the mire now. Im hoping that The Sleeve has something up his to announce in due time and were just going to have to grin and bear it Im afraid.
If come annoucment time there isnt any / or people are not enthused then people can vote with their feet if thats what they want.

How do you know we've failed? Levi's incontract for next year, so if he doesnt come, its hardly a failure
Some will be critical given the last signings and the bargin bin/ not prepared feel over the last 7 years or so.
Some will have faith that it's all part of the plan because we still accomplished XYZ in those years.
People just want to bash the club when they have no idea whats actually going on, and just going off rumours.
Bargin bin isnt completely true tho, Tetavano, Fusitua and Sezer arrived here as big signings recently, especially Tetavano and Fusitua, who came with a good reputation and i was excited to see them play. Even Bentley could of been seen as a coup, signing from Saints.
Theres other players that have come over, Merrin, as an example, who was a big signing who didnt work out. Sometimes big signings dont work out, sometimes the bargain signings do. Its always a gamble
People expect every signing to be the highest quality player, who performs well every week and doesnt get homesick or injured, which is dream land
