Agreed. The amount of times he cuts in in defence instead of staying with his winger is absolutely criminal.

The question mark over Gale is his performance in big knock-out games. His only good performance has been the home semi-final against Saints. But to suggest he’s “not good enough for Leeds” is ridiculous.

You’re right about his injuries though. Time will tell if he can perform at the same level he did in 2015-2017.

2015 - 2017 we had 2 half backs who were around 27.9 million times better than Luke Gale. So he wasn't good enough for us.

When he was at Leeds - he wasn't good enough for us.

2019 - he's had 2 serious injuries in 2 years. He won't be good enough for us.

Would hate us to waste what could be a big slice of our cap on Gale.

Gale fit and in form would be great for leeds. However they can't take a risk with him especially seeing how Watkins is struggling.

Definitely hope Leeds are after Hastings. If he has the players around him he will do well for us. Which I think he is lacking at Salford and is annoying him. This may explain the reason why he's holding out of signing another contract with Salford.
