Maloney to be fair, forget the age, is everything we need really. Possibly the best option out there at this stage for this club.

I think so, he'd be NFT at least. At the moment, I'm not sure where we stand with the quotas. I'd have thought at least 2 or 3 would have to leave in order to make room for them.

I'd imagine that Parcel is going, Albert would sign for Fev, and Cuthbertson would retire at the end of the season. Hopefully Tui gets paid off.

I’m sure we are chasing these players but will be very pleasantly surprised if we manage to land any of them. Our 2 marquee spots are taken up by Hurrell and Merrin, these would certainly be marquee players.

Jackson Hastings is the one I think we should sign.

If none of the above come off from the Championship Jonathan Ford at Toulouse would be a good signing, he’s got some attacking flair which we are seriously lacking. Or Connor Robinson at York has a decent kicking game, again something we are lacking.

I think Albert is exempted from quotas as he signed due to Widnes going into administration

The way Maloney just played against Souths is exactly what we need, but the better he plays the they will want to keep him and with origin recall looming, it will cost us.

To get both Maloney and Hodkinson this season would be a big ask for us but I would definitely take either of them they would be huge upgrades on our current halves even if they both have lost abit of pace in there legs , they have a kicking game and are organising halves that's what we need I'd take Maloney out of the two he has the better calibre although he'd probably cost more but like I say either would be a big plus for us right now. I'd love it if we brought Issac Luke over he'd be quality for us but we'd probably have to release another one of our overseas ( Parcell is obviously rumoured to be leaving but we need another gone as well if we was going Maloney/ Hodkinson and also Luke). Hopefully we announce a big signing soon.
