Seems to be a big thing about how short a time ago it was that he signed. It really doesn't matter if he signed 8 weeks, 8 months or 8 years ago, he's signed a contract.

And no they didn't pressure him into signing at all, he just obviously had no offers coming in from Australia. He wanted to sign for Leeds when it suited him (no other offers) and now wants to sign for Cronulla when it suits him. The guy wants his cake and eat it.

I know you always like to be critical of the club in any situation but to try portray them as some sort of bully who pressurised poor innocent Segeyaro into doing something he didn't want to do is flat out ridiculous. What he didn't want to do is be without a club. Had he taken that option he'd be a Cronulla player right now.

In most businesses that would be considered constructive dismissal - Leeds just tried to humiliate him out of the club!!

Players are worth a transfer fee if the club has invested sufficient time and skill in their development - Harris was a just a case a player who didn't come through the academy but the club had invested considerable time and effort in developing his game. With the best will in the world what did Leeds invest in Segeyaro? He was only here for 3 months?

A transfer isn't decided by the time and skill put in to developing a player, it is decided by the market value of that player.

Just read John Boudebza signed for Lezignan. At 26, is he an option we could look at if we cut our losses with Segeyaro?

Players are worth a fee based on their ability and what they'll bring to their new club.

As for your Harris example, we invested in and developed him as rugby LEAGUE player. Not as a UNION player so we had no development in him for the sport he was going to play but we got a fee.

What are you talking about? How is it constructive dismissal when we paid Achurch his full contract?
He left because his contract ended, he was never dismissed.

Granted you replied to the question but next time try give an answer that makes sense.

If we couldn't just ditch Achurch' scontract, then why should Segeyaro be allowed to ditch ours?
