Connor and Hastings - wonderful. However, we really need one of them (probably Hastings) *this season* otherwise it could all end up being rather academic.

We have a lot of cap potentially coming free next year, but also a lot of cap tied up in long-term contracts with players on the outer.

I’m still struggling to see how we’ve managed to have JJB, Ablett and Crosby on the payroll since last year when it’s now nearly July and none of them have a firm return date. (I know JJB has played a handful of games).

Anyway of course we will be limited in what we can do, this season and next. The reality of reshaping this squad for KS is almost laughably more difficult than many fans seem to credit. If he pulls this off and we are in good shape next year he’ll deserve a lot of credit.

I can't see Leeds letting KW leave at such a crucial stage in the season if they didn't have something to spend the money on. I'd suspect that the sleeve will show his hand in the next week or so, and a few might be pleasantly surprised (It all should be Black and White very shortly)

So he is from Halifax and came up through Huddersfield originally, I guess the Hull connection only goes so far. Maybe there comes a point where a Maloney or Hastings gets so expensive for Leeds that they may as well go for Connor, who knows?
Thing is as well, all the agents know how desperate Leeds are so we're a great way to get higher bids for pretty much any decent player on the market (or not).

Hull are nothing more than a good payday.

A Challenge Cup isn't a big deal anymore - they are the Watford of Rugby League.
