That's a fair post.
Leeds are a bigger club than Hull, I won't argue against that, but Hull are still a pretty good draw in their own right. Good stadium, big fan base, good facilities, financially secure (we have turned a modest profit for a few years on the spin now). Throw in the fact that we are currently better on the field and there really isn't a lot to choose. Let's face it, it's going to come down to money.
And whilst your last sentence is of course true, don't forget that the same applies to Hull. We also want to be the best. |

Totally agree, this wasn't a put down to Hull. Every team is aiming for the top. I think Hull have a good side. If you were more consistent you could easily be troubling Warrington and Saints.
As for Connor, to be honest, every player has a price and the days of players showing loyalty in the face of £££s has almost disappeared. Undoubtedly it would be a kick in the nuts to Hull if he left but you'd get over it I'm sure. |

It would surely be close to £1m to get him for 3 years including the fee and contract and hed no doubt want an nrl clause anyway so would be surprised if you did go for him when you can get hastings for free, unless hastings is Wigan bound

Word has it that he doesn't see eye to eye with Radford and that he wants to play at 6 rather than being shifted about and being picked in the centre position,but with Kelly and sneeeeeeeeyd being first choice half backs then things don't look like changing
Not forgetting that Connor upon initially signing for Hull tried to get out of the deal and stay at the Giants

Is he actually any good at 6?
No doubt he has skills but he is a bit maverick and that does not make for a good halfback, we already have Dwyer running wherever he fancies. |

Jeez, FWIW I think Hull play some brilliant rugby league, I still think that there are too many little lapses that can cost you in big games and that they are very much "rocks or diamonds" but one things for sure, they are interesting to watch for that reason. That being said "on their day" they can beat anyone.
Anyhoo, if we can leave out the grumbling over petty tribal issues lets try and get back on subject fellas.
