Its sport. Only 17 in the team at any one time. Players know it and accept it. They may not like being picked, but its entirely up to them to make themsleves undroppable. I don't recall Achurch ever making that case.

Would you expect to get Roby for free - how much time have Saints invested in Roby? How much have Leeds contributed to making Segeyaro the player Cronulla want?

The key is to sign a player who genuinely wants to play for your club - it was obvious Segeyaro only signed for Leeds due to lack of options. Stevie Wonder could see that - it begs the question why did Leeds sign him in the first place? For exact same reason lack of other options - another poor decision by GH.

What happened to Falloon another example of a player who had his contract terminated early by Leeds - sometimes what goes around comes around

Sending an established SL player to turn out for a third tier side is humiliating. Sending youngsters or players recovering from injury is OK. Which other squad players were sent to Hunslet? when they deemed Sinfield not good enough to pick why didn't they send him to Hunslet if that's what you do with fit players not selected in the 17?

Pictures of Segs training with a number of Cronulla players (and T Carney) on twitter overnight, although it looks more a mates thing than a club training session.

Sal - I think you'd find any claim to have been humiliated would be laughed out of court. A professional sport by definition has players not in the first team. Why doesn't anyone who gets dropped claim constructive dismissal and walk out? Its not like an office job. I've never worked in an office where the top 17 staff get to work whilst a whole bunch of other staff continue to be paid but have to try to impress by working on their skills and hope to get picked the next day.

Falloon was unceremoniously dumped by GH and Leeds in favour of Segeyaro, but spun in the media as a mutually agreeable termination of contract

Mitch Achurch - established SL player......since when? Not at anytime really let alone a month into his first year when he went to Hunslet (who were 2nd tier at the time not 3rd) for a couple of games. So are you saying that in March 2013 we were already trying to humiliate him out of the club? Yet we picked him many times after when he wasn't injured and he walked back into the side for the CC final in 2015 even though Keinhorst had been performing well in his absence.
