Perhaps I am wrong ,but the assumption on here seems to be the building schedule will just take up one season.
Seems optimistic, as I have mentioned before some major building projects can work 24 hrs per day 7 days per week.
I can't see the local population agreeing to that. Interesting times ahead.

I didn't want to ask, in case it was some fiendish trap I hadn't seen & walked right into. However, since you've brought it up, I have to admit I was thinking the same.

On reflection, I suppose he means the jump from 5,500 to 7,500 by giving away tickets. But, as their levels soon dropped back to their original 5,500 figure, logic dictates that the only way to get AND KEEP these extra supporters would be to continually offer the cheap membership tickets. Presumably the club has decided that that is not an economically viable option long term.

The only problem with a 30% upturn in anything is when it's very shortly followed by a 30% downturn (& one had to show one's a**e to get that initial upturn in the first place!)

But the whole point of that idea is that the new fans you've attracted with cheap tickets will then stay, they clearly didn't as attendances dropped back down to previous. So the idea failed in its main objective.
There is quite a bit of time between when the Giants were running those cheap ticket deals and now. Im not suggesting that we get people through the door 1-5times and then do nothing and those new fans will be season ticket holders in 10 years time, such a thing would be ridiculous.

however Hudds started running cheap season tickets deal in 2008, in that year they got just under 8k, and didnt drop below 7k again until 2013.

Well that was a cracking read! May as well give my two pennies worth seen as everybody else is.

Using ER could go either way. If filled as Smokey suggest it would be great, but as Printer mentioned attempts to fill it could fail miserably. To be totally honest I dunno what the best thing to suggest would be, nor will I be bothered when it's announced, all I need to know is where to be and when.

Hudds only started increasing the prices recently, even in 2012 you could get a ST for £50 in the Fantastic Media Stand and £99 in others, so they did cheap for several years.

I think it would be better to take a small hit finacially and stay within the city at ER than risk losing a % of fans if we move to Bradford. I for one can not envisage myself spending my Friday nights in Bradford.

Aren't your arguing against yourself here? Cheap tickets got people through door. Price elasticity of demand isn't a new concept. We can use it to get people through the door.

A week later than I thought, today is decision day. I'll be amazed if the LCC Exec Board don't rubber stamp the decision.
FWIW if we do play at Odsal during the redevelopment I for one will not be going.
It's a god-forsaken dump, freezing cold even at the height of summer.

Indeed a roughly 30% increase because of that terrible idea

Trap or clap trap? I'm going for the latter and if he ever replies we'll find out.
