| In the past Leeds and GH have always been quite agreeable to this sort of thing, with recent examples Buderus and Eastwood being allowed to leave.
I do think part of our response this time is due to timing (including what's happened with Solomona and Sandow)
But if I'm honest while we can't blame GH for Segeyaro walking out, that's just a symptom of our long term inability to fill the 9 shirt, and that falls at Garry's door.

| Quote ThePrinter="ThePrinter"Mitch Achurch - established SL player......since when? Not at anytime really let alone a month into his first year when he went to Hunslet (who were 2nd tier at the time not 3rd) for a couple of games. So are you saying that in March 2013 we were already trying to humiliate him out of the club? Yet we picked him many times after when he wasn't injured and he walked back into the side for the CC final in 2015 even though Keinhorst had been performing well in his absence.'"
Achurch has played 80+ games for Leeds I would suggest that constitutes an established player
I ask again if its good enough for Achurch why was deemed not appropriate for the likes of Sinfield when he was dropped?
Achurch was a big earner - if the rumours are true - Leeds didn't really see him fitting in and wanted him out - unfortunately he was more stubborn than GH had hoped

| Quote Sal Paradise="Sal Paradise"Would you expect to get Roby for free - how much time have Saints invested in Roby? How much have Leeds contributed to making Segeyaro the player Cronulla want?
'"
That depends if he is in the middle of his contract or at the end of his contract, no matter how much time they invested in him. He can sign for free if his contract has ended. He can't if he has committed to a contract, unless the club agrees.

'" Leeds honoured his contract. They would, I'm sure, have preferred him to find a new club, but that didn't happen so the kept him at the club and paid him his contracted salary.

How many games had he played in March 2013 when he went to Hunslet? 4/5? How many NRL games had he played? About a dozen? Ever considered they felt he needed game time/experience when not in the Leeds 17.
With the likes of JJB, Ablett, Delaney, Ward, Clarkson he hardly was ever someone who you'd put in your strongest 17 if everyone was fit.
Ridiculous to say that 4/5 games into his Leeds career we sent him to Hunslet to humiliate him out of the club and not because he needed that. That you think someone with less than 20 first team appearances in his career should be treated the same as Sinfield (who was clearly being held back for the upcoming cup game) is laughable.
In your efforts to always be critical of the club in any issue you've come up with a rather daft claim and you keep digging.

| Tyler Randall from the Knights being mentioned in the Aussie press as a possible (and willing) swap deal for Segeyaro.
''With Leeds refusing to grant the livewire hooker a release from his 2017 contract, there is a move behind the scenes to offer the Super League club 'compensation' not in the shape of a money transfer, but instead talented Newcastle Knights dummy-half, Tyler Randall.
Randall, who has played almost 50 first-grade games, is believed to open to the idea of taking his game to the Super League.
Should Leeds sign Randall, they would then release Segeyaro.''
Any NRL experts thoughts?

Not heard of him before, but he's 24 - WANTS to play over here and he's utility seemingly.
Why the Knights tho? Are they in the running now?
"He primarily plays at hooker, five-eighth and lock, but can also fill in at halfback."

| No idea - poetic justice though if Segeyaro ends up playing for the worst team in the league after trying to force a move to the best

Tyler Randall is Falloon level. Third choice hooker at the worst team in the league.

| Segeyaro won't go to the Knights - no spot for him.
I don't know how your coach is putting your squad together, but Randell is just about the polar opposite of Segeyaro.
He is a good defender and has a good motor, but zero zip out of dummy half.
It seems to me you'd have a completely different plan if you swapped them.
