I know a few people who aren’t renewing next year. Times are hard financially and I won’t knock them for it, I can understand their frustration.

Depends what he's got to work with I guess. We still give away metres for fun; if he can get that sorted then he'll do for me.
Doesn't entirely smack of jobs for the boys, his career and achievements are more broad based than merely being a part of a good Leeds team.
But really it all hinges on other changes being made - he'll not do much if everything else stays the same

Clearly we need new players not new coaching staff as the priority, but having some champion mentality around the playing group can’t hurt.

Its professional sport Shabs you go where the money is.Hull offered iirc a longer higher contract than Leeds did.

Whether he comes or not, I think we need to know who's decision it is, and in what role? One thing Sinfield highlighted when leaving was the politics of his role, which he really didn't like.

I'm still on the fence about RS, but one thing is for certain - he needs to choose his backroom staff and have a really decent say in players too.

If GH blind-sided him about the Austin move, surely he also won't blindside him over a move for an assistant coach?

This all adds to the fact that we really need DoR in charge of the rugby department.
