I wouldn't over exaggerate, Wigan won the GF last year with a pretty poor spine, we just have to make sure our defence is solid and everybody knows their roles, we probably have enough strike players to compensate.

Why's he delusional? He was asked if he was confident he'd return....he avoided that by saying they're expecting him to return, which technically they are. If we're planning on standing firm on this and not just rolling over and letting him go for nothing then it hardly helps our stance if the coach says he doesn't expect him to return. Pretty much tells Cronulla that we've given up and good look trying to get any money out of them then.

Think he spoke quite well about it TBH. Made mention of how hard the likes of Jason Davidson worked on helping Segeyaro feel settled along with other staff and the players.

Classic thread, this. SP claiming that a player's transfer value resets to zero once they join a new club, that Achurch was humiliated by being on dual reg and that Segeyaro was forced to sign a contract against his will.

There is no debate about BMD's integrity as a person and those who are bringing this into question by calling him delusional need to have a serious word with themselves. I don't particularly rate him as a coach, but I do think he's one of the most honest people I've ever met.
