Its interesting with Hull. Tony Smith no doubt ruffled a few feathers early in the season, but they seem to be heading in the right direction now. We're in similar positions in the table, but completely opposite trajectories.....

Hull had a stage in the season where their spine players never seemed to be on the pitch at the same time. Since they have got some of them back things have got a lot better.

The fact that the usually Leeds-friendly media are saying the club needs to go big to me signals that, as shown on this forum, the mood has changed. Times are tough, and people want excitement and entertainment from sport, not just plodding along with vague promises about how good we'll be in five years when all the kids develop. There's no sense of excitement or anticipation about the club, for me at least. I really hope there are some impressive signings to come, because right now I'm struggling to maintain interest.

It would be unlike them but maybe it would be good to do a fans forum thing where members are invited so RS and GH could try at least map out what they are doing?

A good idea, yes, but I've now got visions of a Billy Graham type event with GH/RS stood on a podium on the halfway line evangelising about their way fwd.

Other than briefly calming down the current discontent not sure that it would achieve much. It's clear to everybody what is required and telling people we are actively looking will solve nothing. The idea of a fans forum is a good one mind possibly pre season and post season incorporating feedback about all aspect of the club both from a playing perspective and spectator overall experience.
At the moment it would just be a moaning session and not sure what would be achieved.

Why would they Hethrington has made public his support for Smith and said there are funds available and that's where we're at,recruitment and retention are a daily conversation.
