Athletic reporting he’s gone back home Amiri and no medical done nor any sign he wants to come. Looks dead in the water to me that. Talks at a standstill with Painttsil as he’s owed bonuses. He wants to join Leeds but it’s messy. Be interesting to see what they do with midfield now, we can’t afford to let this go into Friday otherwise anything could happen and could lose control

Sky reporting we’ve bid £4m for McLean at Norwich. Been rejected. He’s been their best midfielder so far this season, they’ll sell but want £8m to £10m apparently.

10m is a huge fee for a 32 year old in the championship. Just get Kamara and Tanaka for the same price
