Don't think he was ever keen on being in front of the camera, but did so as that was part of his role as the captain of the club. I mean the guy isn't even on any social media so would seem tv and media work isn't exactly what he'd prefer to do.

Who knows what he'll want to do. In the past he's said not coaching but then again you can have different feelings about things when you've retired and miss things more than you thought you would.

Sonny was the year above me at secondary school and while all the other tools in the team used to try a knock your head off and pick a fight. He always made time for all of us to give advice and a slap on the back. A true Gentleman but I fear he made be destined for greater things. He was a top guy and a top student if I remember Mr Barton's right. Sure he was lined up for a law degree. Good luck to him and for me Oldhams best son

The way I read it, it is pretty much a done deal he is staying at Leeds. Maybe he could be strategic manager of rugby, under Gary but advising McD. Because McD is obviously clueless on how to bring the team together. Our biggest problem is not the talent on the pitch it's getting the talent to play together as a team. http://bbc.in/1r1BU9v

His playing career finished today as Carnegie lost on aggregate to Doncaster.

End of a brilliant career.

yes, congrats on a magnificent career.

hopefully we will see him back in some capacity for us at some point but please, not a playing one

I wonder how the Leeds CEO and Coach really feel now about Sinfield's decision to quit the Rhinos twelve months earlier than planned only to play less than a full season of Union.

As a fan would have preferred him to see out his Rhinos contract when already full in the knowledge Peacock was going at the same time. It was his choice to make and perhaps the stint will have opened even more doors on his future but I doubt they would have been closed in any case.
