You know it is a boring game when the commentators are talking about things completely off topic

Not true, they love doing it even when it's a good game. For some reason they're under the impression that the audience are tuning in for them and their 'banter'. But they aren't the only ones TBF and its happening more and more in sports commentary nowadays. Caught a bit of the T20 cricket earlier and they love to be "characters". In fairness to David 'Bumble' Lloyd he is, the others aren't, not mentioning any names........Nasser Hussain.

It looks increasingly likely, given McGuire looks to be injured again. Some good touches from moon and agree he came in and out of game, thought he was a bit better than Soward on the day.

The need for some more athletic forwards is once again glaringly obvious. The difference in our defence today and Wigan's last night is massive.

Salford will be desperate in next game and Leeds will need to up game to win. A loss would drag Leeds into the scrap for survival.

Moons job was apparently to act as a foil for Mcguire and Lilly by running the ball and pulling in defenders (very much a Foran type role), I think he did this pretty well and we seem to have had more time on the ball than in previous weeks.
Next week I think it will be Moon and Lilly with burrow on the bench or Burrow at 6 with keinhorst on the bench.

We did look slow in the middle, I think we missed Singleton more than many think, he is our most mobile prop and plugs a lot of holes around the marker, Mullaly didn't fill that role nearly as well today.
Remember though Baldwinson and Oledski should get some game time next year.

While we scored some nice tries it was a sloppy and poor performance for me today. Our kicking game was awful and baffling. Surely against championship opposition you dont want to keep kicking into touch so they can get a breather? Wouldnt keeping it in play and making them work to grind them down and tire them out be a better option? Both Maggsy and Lilley repeatedly drilled it 20 or 30 yards into touch. Not knocking the players who must have been instructed to do it but surely making Championship teams work at a pace they arent used to would be a more sensible tactic????

Marker defence was lazy and non-existant at times.

To defend the players it must be difficult getting up for a game they know they will win comfortably but i expected better today and left the ground disappointed with the performance.

Spot on. The only explanations I could think of for drilling it into touch was that we needed a rest more than them or if being generous, we used the conservative tactic more in first half when playing into the strong wind.

Or if being very generous, I wondered if Leeds had come down on day of the game and were a bit travel weary and seeking to break up the play. Like you disappointed leaving the ground

Well before the Fev game when some people were saying some of us were being too cocky and confident predicting an easy win I said the potential banana skin for us could be the London game if we went into it with 2 wins from 2.

Sandwiched inbetween two more challenging games vs SL opposition on HKR and Salford I thought we might go into this a bit lackadaisical looking towards the important Salford game. As the commentators said during the game it was slightly following the pattern of the Fev game and at 40-18 with 15 mins to go you're thinking are getting 60 points again. The Watkins mess up over the try line not to score summed up for me a careless attitude that I doubt that incident happens vs Salford or HKR.

A very much 'let's just get this out of the way' attitude it felt and that's the potential danger for SL clubs in this Middle 8's. London have still got the other 3 SL clubs to play and if the SL teams don't approach it correctly then I think London could get a win against a SL club which would definitely shake the table up.

I think we should sign him as a backup hooker based on that, anyone seen more of him?

You think we went into this game with any sort of tactics or game plan? It looked to me like our plan was to show up and outplay them, it was the sort of complacency we have been seeing for years
