He’s been pretty dreadful from what I’ve seen in this game, however it’s not fair to judge him on one game in isolation.

Looks slow and misses tackles.
But I guess that's the pond we're fishing in.

We desperately need some pace at 6.
The game is much slower and more open over here.
That's why Field and French are superstars.

Field and French are not halfbacks, we’ve just signed Miller who is rapid.

However i would like a quick half back too

I know, that's kind of my point.
French is not really a half back.
But he's playing at 6 for Wigan and is a massive running threat.
We need that.
Miller is a great start at FB, but we also need some pace and x-factor at 6 and some control at 7.

From watching Frawley this game..reminds a bit of Sezer….seems quite lazy/not getting involved for long periods.

Surely we can do better?

If he really is rumoured to be coming to us, I reckon I would have preferred giving Austin the 2 year deal he wanted as for me Austin (albeit blows hot and cold) still offers more than Sezer and Frawley

Frawley's really not very good. If you want someone who can't or won't run at halfback he's your man. He's very much a reserve grade player, and has been ever since he went back to Australia.

Miller can be a much better player than Gibson was. He's a really good attacking runner.

Promising as he's gettable because nobody else would want him? Seriously I'd rather sign Milnes than someone like Frawley. He wouldn't be much better (from what I've seen he looks painfully slow), but at least he wouldn't take up a quota spot.
