As you say, a really ropey source. Don't know his injury situation, but as I remember him he is big, athletic and fast. Massive upgrade on anything we have. Find it hard to believe he would be SL bound at 26, but I don't see much NRL at the moment.

Fusitu’a is an interesting one. I could see there being legs in this. He can play centre and possibly FB too.

Right wing is where the vacancy would be, it all stacks up.

Maybe we have our sights set on a Taupau/ Sims type player for 2023 when we have a load of cap becoming available again.

A right hand side of Sezer, Newman and Fusitu’a is pretty tasty.

With his recent injury record you'd like to think it would be a year deal with an option for more.

But then that wouldn't be enough for him would it?

Plus hes also being linked to other NRL clubs.

I reckon that there may be some truth in the fusitu'a rumour. As others have said at 26 years old its doubtful that we could pull it off with the available cap.He has two years left on a five year contract and apparently is considering either remaining at the warriors or 2 offers from NRL teams and 2 from Superleague which logic would suggest to be Leeds and Hull. He was the top winger in the NRL in 2018 but has not played much last couple of years initially with an injury and then with some off field personal well being issues. I suppose it depends on his state of mind and motivation it could well be that a move away to a different country is appealing to him. Purely on rugby terms the odds are he stays in the NRL but you never know. Its suggests that our recruitment of a winger/prop will be decided by the quality available in either position and that is absolutely the right policy.

If the positions of need are winger/outside back and prop and we have 1 quota space then it only makes sense we take the best player available in either of those positions.

Also with winger there isn’t much quality for a UK winger either this year or next. Given that I can see is going for a winger and having Thompson/Mustapha as those 5/6 prop options. They both go off contract next year so maybe look at a replacement then.

Also not a huge number more but there are more UK prop options than wing options IMO.

Lists him as 26 on Wikipedia, but his actual birthdate is Oct 94, so just about to turn 28. Still pretty young.
