Can’t see them having cap space. It’s his dream to play for Leeds isn’t it before he retires.. if we don’t bring him back and he’s available it’s a disgrace regardless of Sam being at wire

Depends on their marquee spots but id have thought Vaughn and Williams are two of them so could they use the new third one on him.

It’s ok saying it’s a disgrace but if he wants to be with his brother then im sure Wire will be in a better position than us to make it happen.

However he might not want to play under his brother as head coach who knows.

Yes fair doos Chris but we just seem to keep missing out on top players and it’s about time we changed that. We have huge cap space and should be able to put a great package together for the right players

I have always taken his occasional "I want play for Leeds" soundbites with a very large pinch of salt. Why else would he have kept signing contracts with the Bunnies? I would imagine that if he is SL bound Wire are clear favourites, purely because of his brother.

Regardless of supporting Leeds, or his brother coaching Wire, Burgess will go where the money is.
Whoever offers the best deal will be favourites.
We should be breaking the bank to make this happen, but I'm very sceptical given our current levels of ambition.
