he said experience wise he was up with them.

it was an exercise in deflecting attention from the players to him. and it worked.
I read his autobiography many moons ago. very interesting read.

He's always been better than he's gotten credit for. You don't manage at the top level for as long as him if you don't know what you're doing. Yes, he'll never win the champions league, but would Pep be able to save a struggling team from relegation mid season? Probably not.

What Champions League experience does he have - how many finals has he coached at?

This is about credibility - it seems to me he sees it as a very well paid 4 week distraction from Talksport. If he was that good he would be coaching one of the top sides. The fact he is working for Talksport given the debarcle at the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, Leicester etc makes the move to Leeds look even more bonkers.

Is he not the assistant coach he has brought with him for Oxford before they sacked - sadly Sammy Lee is on jury service so not available - you couldn't make it up.

One thing Sam will do is sort out the trouble maker(s) in the dressing room be it McKennie or Rocca if rumours are true.
He basically has 2 games to prepare for the last 2 and 6 points.
I reckon he will go with a 451 on Saturday with Rodrigo playing just behind the 9.
Robles
Ayling, Koch, Wober, Struijk I`m assuming Coopers injured.
Gnonto, Forshaw, Rodrigo, Rocca, Harrison unfortunately.
And more unfortunately Bamford up front.
