He’d probably be one of, if not the best, outside backs in Super League. World Class International signings in their mid 20’s are a very rare signing for a Super League club nowadays. Who would you sign instead? Some people live in cloud cu cu land if you think better players are out there and available.

On the prop note, we certainly lacked depth at prop this year, with King Vuniyayawa we need a replacement. Is Muizz Mustapha still under contract and due to return to the club?

Muizz is back at Leeds next year

If he has come here to play and is injury free he will likely be top try scorer next year.
Couple of big ifs in there.
But if both clubs offer him the same amount of money he must surely go for Cats.

Just read an article comparing his current stage of career as simaler to Meli when he came to SL. If he comes over and plays to his potential then it's a major coup, if not then another lame duck signing. Got its risks but potentially a master stroke from Agar and Co.
Time will tell and if he doesn't go to Cats

Agree with some of what has been said. The bottom line is if he hadn’t had a couple of difficult years with injury and personal issues he wouldn’t be looking at coming to the UK.

The idea we can just decide to sign a decent NRL winger and they will come is bonkers. Why would a mid 20’s player move to Leeds or the UK in general? It’s either somebody coming to the end who fancies a change and an experience or a slightly younger player who isn’t good enough for the NRL or has had a difficult time.

If we signed him and he played a reasonable number of games he would make us considerably better out wide and would likely be our top try scorer. Yes we need more at prop but we also need some strike out wide.

Don’t believe in fate but we signed Tui and Konnie from the same Tonga side Fusitua played in and neither worked out.

It’s very difficult making good signings these days. If we are serious about the winger then you’d imagine prop is on hold until he makes his decision - and even then who is there that would be a fit?

If we are applying that criteria we wouldn't touch Jason Taumalolo with a bargepole if he was offered to us. Every transfer has risks however I don't think there would be too many in the fusitua signing other than if he signed and burned it up he would have lots of offers in NRL for 2023. That may be the reason hes available to get game time to relaunch his career with the warriors paying part of his contract. Both Tui and Konnie issues were predominantly fitness and being overweight but Fusitua looks a different frame

We need to minimise the risks . This guy has played 12 games in 2 years , due to injury and personal problems . With our injury record , we don`t need another passenger . Not worth the risk.

Let's just give Tom Briscoe another contract then or sign the guy from Feathersone.
Its a different level in the NRL. Lachlan Coote played 9 games the season before signing for Saints! Jackson Hastings 13 in two years before coming to Superleague.
This guy will probably half the money (if subsidised) of Hurrell and a lot less risk. There is a reason he is on a 5 year contract.
