It's right that Dwyer might be getting his name out there a bit, I don't have a problem with the article. He might still have 5 years career ahead and Leeds clearly prefer Leeming (who's on a long term deal) and then have Johnson coming through too.

There is a lot of click bait out there but just sign of the times.

Read the article with Dwyer, it does come across like he expects to be moving on imo.

If he has a great season and wants to stay, he might get a year or two extension. I rate the lad, as tough as any I’ve seen and he does gave a good running game.

I suspect he would be higher up the pecking order at another club though.

I haven't either and i think he will move on as you said Leeming contracted 2024 Johnson 2023.The club havent brought Johnson back to play in the reserves permanently and i expect him after a full preseason to be pushing for a place in the 17. If this happens i cant see Dwyer signing a new deal if offered at this time in his career.

Right back to the 1980's there. The (young) lad was hugely affected by what has happened to Robbie and it made him question if it was worth putting his body through it. He was seeing his mates going out and enjoying life, but he felt he was a prisoner to rugby league. That to me took bottle to make that decision when all around him we're telling him to continue playing. It does my head in when people say players don't have the bottle. Anyone stepping on to the pitch has bottle. This is the toughest of sports and everyone of those players takes risks not many of us have to. Fair enough challenge someone's skill set, but don't question their commitment or bravery to play a sport we take part in from a distance with a pint and burger in our hands.

Rephrase the word Bottle for mindset /attitude, all the rest is pretty true bordering on just opinion. some players are the big star all through their junior academy Rugby and fail to step up when it gets to the highest level. Johnson us a player people are just expecting to be the next big thing and a certain starter and this may never happen. Lots to prove yet.

Looked pretty good against Saints to me. Passing was crisp and accurate and the forwards immediately made more ground when he was on the pitch. As I recall he also dealt with Walmsley one on one as well, something many of our props have struggled to do. As you say, he has a lot to prove, but in terms of technique and execution he has a lot going for him. Guess we'll have the answers soon enough.

Richard Hunswick is possibly the best signing for 2021 at last we have realised how influential and important having the best conditioner in charge of our back room staff. Watch how big a difference you will see in the shape of the players next year
