I'd be very concerned if Sezer or Austin suffered a long term injury with Gale and McLelland going. I don't want to see us relying on any of Sutcliffe, Leeeming or Myler to play at half back week in week out.

But does anyone have 3 halves of the Austin/Seezer/Gale type quality/experience?

Having 2 and a couple of options who can cover is pretty standard for a balanced squad. If Gale stayed and wasn't first choice would he be positive influence on the squad?

We really need Sezer in particular to stay fit next season, lots of what we do will hinge on him. Massive kicking threat to that RHS with Fusitu'a for one.

Yep, we've granted Hull permission to speak to him. We're surely creating room for a prop otherwise why do it.. He was very good in his first season for us Gale but very poor last year. This makes sense to me, frees up good amount of Cap, Myler can cover and so can Leeming, we're fine in that dept on overall balance. Wonder if we'll get some comp ?

I was really hoping that the extra competition would get the best out of him, but if Hull are offering two years you could see why he might want to go. Would free up some funds for a prop, but who? They would have to be domestic.

If we have a prop lined up then this makes sense, otherwise why would we strengthen a competitor club when there’s no need?

Hull have just confirmed Sneyd to Salford with immediate effect. We must be confident of bringing someone in if we've agreed to his release.
All signs point to Gale as his replacement.

Not sure.. could be a brit in NRL perhaps ? Thompson ? On the flip side could Gale have requested move maybe once Hull came in.. Leeds might have thought might as well cash in now.

Disappointed if it happens. Was looking forward to seeing Gale and Sezer on either side, pulling the strings. That would have given us great option in attack. He also has a great understanding with Myler linking in the line. Leaves us short in the halves imo.

I'm hoping that Gale (who does run to the line more than Sneyd) will create even more room for Connor to do what he does best
