Thought Lee had played more nrl games than he has.

I always thought he was a slightly, only slightly less error prone version of Hurrell.

Good if he's like Hurrell, we need players who don't lack hunger.

Lee's problem has always been fitness, both injury and conditioning, i doubt either are going to improve at this stage of his career, if theres ever a club who should not take a chance on him, its us imo opinion.

Fusitua, Lee, Newman is much too risky...Resigning Fusitua is a big gamble, never mind adding another one on decent money and a Quota spot

Controversial opinion again here but Fusitua is probably our best player in terms of quality. You would hope his injury record improves at some point but even if he plays 75% of games he may we worth retaining - on the right money.

Newman has an even worse record and in my view is overrated by some at this stage in his career.

Waqa Blake is an interesting name mentioned - at least he has pace.

RS has some track record with Lisone, McDonnell and until recent events MacDonald. All good players. Even two of them working out and adding into the first 17 for next season is a win given the lack of funds he had to play with this season.

There must be much more cash available to invest in the squad for 2024 though, and the three players we've announced so far really shouldn't make a big dent. We have to be in the market for some real quality.

Of the three players, Goudemand is a bit part interchange steady hard working small forward, Frawley has only played 20 first grade games in the last 3 years and Miller though looks promising has played relatively little rugby league. Add the talk of Lee who hasn't the best track record of being able to stay fit over all his NRL seasons, and he won't provide the yardage impact of MacDonald. We better hope that RS has some ability akin to Graham Murray getting the best out of a less than flashy looking squad. Note to self, must try to be more positive.

I'm still hopeful.
A few big names ( prop and HB) and we will look much much better.

Neither or poor options and its just surrendering to another two years of jam next time

No idea why Lee has attracted much attention. Wigan were supposedly interested a while ago. He's a big lad but desperately slow. Have a look at his highlights reel - which says a lot as it was made four years ago. Even back then he wasn't quick.

We were before he signed for the Dolphins but his injury record is shocking, his knees seem goosed. Non-federation players need to be regulars given the money they command.

I'm sure we still have some cash to splash, but neither Miller or Frawley will have come cheap. Minimum wage for a top 30 player in the NRL is 100k in English pounds. Even if they are both right at that figure we'll have had to dangle a bit more to get them over. Our Marquee allowance kicks in at 150k. A sobering thought.

No way is Walker coming to Leeds people need to lower their expectations quite drastically.

If we have to prioritise then 7 all day long; we can cover centre more easily as we’re over stacked with smallish back rowers.

Another reason why giving too-long contracts to players like Myler, and possibly re-signing Bentley, is crackers.

I’m wondering about Kayal Iro again in the centre.
