Seem to recall Sharky saying 4 incoming including a British forward. One big unexpected name plus potentially Abdul or another half and then a centre. If that's true then potentially still 3 marquee to be announced. It looks as though we are looking at players currently contracted elsewhere.

Powell would be a good signing your standards, as a club, need to be improved.

The club really has to deliver following that article, after acknowledging the mistakes (which has taken long enough), there really isnt room for more of the same.

Assuming the three spots are currently unoccupied, this is my thinking.
Prop - Burgess or Sutton.
Centre - Aitken, Iro (wouldn't be marquee) or possibly Gagai.
Half - Croft, Moylan or Volkman. Having watched quite a bit of Volkman since his name came up, I actually think he'd be my pick. Young, but a sensational prospect with lots to prove and maybe just the sort of player where Rohan’s connections would give him a head start.

Sorry but I can not excited about potentially signing Sam Powell.
Would be a really poor signing imo.
We need a game changing dynamic hooker.
He is not that.
We have steady already.
Total waste of cap space.
Our priorities are elsewhere.
