My bet is that there will be no more " big" signings.
Resigning Donaldson and Bentley and signing Goudemand when we have Martin, Mcdonnell, Gannon and Ruan and only needed one of the first three means we are stacked for workmen backrowers / poor middles prop back up nonsense.
We have one centre that is injury prone and has an attitude problem,the other has run from a new 4 Yr deal.
One of our main players/ resigning only plays 50% of games a year for literally years and takes up a QS.
We only have four props. Two are young,one is young abd a project and the last only does short spells with random effectiveness/ reliability.
Hooker is a couple of kids ( who have done great,considering) and our new target there is OK I guess?.
Only one HB who will hopefully do well here but nothing on a much needed partner. I guess Myler or Gannon /Martin can fill in ? It's not that important xD.
Virtually everyone here and in the RL world knew who and what we needed and that this one was the big one to get right.
Now we seem to again be leaving it late and slipping in the transition / revolution/ etc talk to drop expectations and putting out interviews talking about our woes as if its past tense !.
It's really not, we..they..are making the same decisions again.
If we get players for our big three holes in the 17 and they are class we will do better. If we sign a few little boosters too then great.
If we don't then they have no excuses left and shoukd just admit they can't or won't be able to get a squad that can threaten top 4.
