Was in the club shop yesterday, it looks a lot better close up than it does from a distance. There is a pattern in the Mulberry part of the shirt which makes it look even better.
On a positive note club have some retro 1968 Watersplash shirts in again. Long sleeved. Fantastic. £50.
Just bought one and love it
I read this and dropped in to the club shop with my son, with the express intention of buying the retro shirts. I have to say I thought the overall look and concept of the shirt was excellent, but the execution is very disappointing. There were a choice of 4 shirts in my size and one in my sons. They were all poorly finished, with loose threads and random white threads poking up on the quilted area on the top back in particular. I sorted out the best of the four, only for my son to point out that the 50th anniversary patch was missing, a fault that was replicated on the only shirt in his size. I ended up buying the best of the three with the anniversary patch, but felt a bit of a mug for accepting sub strandard merchandise, my son gave it a miss. The person behind the counter was really helpful, apologised but also seemed to indicate we were not just unlucky. It seems the Chinese had not done the greatest of jobs on the Watersplash Commerative shirt. The club IMO needs to put more effort into Q.A. with its chosen supplier, they shouldn't accept and sell on to the fans, sub standard kit. I wonder how much they paid for each £49.99 shirt?

Thats a shame, the ones they released a fair few years ago were superb and actual replicas of the priginal shirts (icluding padding in the shoulders) I'm glad I got one of those when they were out!

Does anyone know if the shorts (home and away) are for sale in the club shop as they don’t seem to be in line?
They werent before Christmas. We always buy our eldest the training top with playing shorts and socks for his rugby training but this year we could only get top and socks. Guy in shop said they were waiting for some warehouse in Cas (ISC) to release the shorts but that it would be after Christmas. Got to say the shop was in a poor state prior to Christmas in terms of stock for children.
If ISC have taken over the running of the online store they need to get their finger out with the stock online and in store.
