Brodie Croft was mentioned on here a while ago as having already signed. Can't recall who. If true we may hear more fairly soon, depending on Salfords result tonight.

My point was that none of the players we are being linked with would be considered marquee.
We are losing our 2 marquee players.
I would expect us to be replacing them with marquee signings.
But I guess we're all still waiting on the "big" announcements.......

Agree. with the cap space and quota spots left, the quota spot surely should be filled by a top quality addition. It makes no sense to use a quota spot like this. we have to be brining in 3 or 4 quality players now.

If Whitbread is true, I imagine we have lost out on Eseh (consistent with rumours of him going over the Pennines).

If Harvey Smith to Leeds is also true then I can't imagine we'll also sign another senior hooker; we'll surely run with O'Connor and Johnson with Smith in reserve. We have Aldridge and Corbett also coming through - why would be bring another senior hooker in over 3 existing hookers ready for SL and a couple more in the academy?

Would also mean we are down one quota spot for the 7 and the centre.

Croft at 7 would make a lot of sense actually if we can pull that off. Not sure where we're going to get a decent centre from but that would give us:

Miller
Fus, Newman, Simpson/?, Handley
Frawley, Croft
Oledski, O'Connor, Holroyd
Martin, McDonnell
Smith

Whitbread, Lisone, Sangare, Johnson

Gannon, H Smith, Bentley, Myler, Goudemand, various other academy lads etc in reserve.
