On Hooley, I could just about say I’d rather him stay than myler, assuming their relative salaries and backup status. Having said that can’t knock the lad for backing himself and wanting to be first choice somewhere.

Also agree that it’s getting to silly season in the NRL, lots of released lists coming about. Apparently the Roosters for example have confirmed five more departures this morning. Some will already have clubs, some won’t.

One of those is Nathan Brown, if we’re looking for an older head in the pack with potential x-factor he could fit the bill. Was awesome at Parra but not sure how he’s gone at the roosters.

Smith in his presser mentioned that some players have let the group down (by leaving) i think its safe to say Nene won’t be back.

Agree mate - I would love Croft to partner Frawley too.

If Wigan have got Eseh as well as Walters that’s fantastic business.

I really rate Nsemba as well, and that’s without mentioning the likes of Havard who while more experienced isn’t exactly old.

It was a good presser (I really don’t get why people call him arrogant) i do honestly feel the club is heading in the right direction the cull of players enforced or not will be the best thing to happen to the team, we really need to get back to having that core group of players who playing for Leeds means everything, good to hear that Harry Newman seems like one of them.

Brodie Croft, Sam Powell, Brenko Lee, Peter Mata'utia, Fa'amanu Brown, Luke Thompson, Charlie Staines, Jai Whitbread.
Bar Thompson and croft, all would be poor signings and wouldn't make us better. Also it's a load of rubbish, they are all players linked to us via forums and social media. Nearly as bad as sharkies drivel although his is usually more exciting. I mean, why would we be looking at staines who is a winger/fullback?

These were all names I was given how else are players supposed to be linked with a club other than media attention/ speculation? And just because we've been in talks or are in talks with players doesn't mean they are gonna sign does it the who reason for forums like this is so people can share information & opinions isn't it? Also Stanies is a outside back but why can't we be linked or in talks with him he's a outside back and we are currently looking for a outside bsck aren't we? I think we have been linked with so many that don't come off that they are somewhat jaded and assume its all nonsense,rather than something personal.

We'd be looking at a centre wouldn't we, not a wing/fullback? Unless someone is suggesting Handley goes to centre permanently which I hope they're not. It's not an impressive list.
