We definitely need to be looking at quality over quantity going forward. We have to get out of the ways which got us into a mess in the first place. I’m quietly hoping we pull off a couple of real significant signings in addition to Gale.

My guess is Exeter Rhino is pretty close, I guess that Singleton will go to Toronto, possible guess is Myler to HKR, other than that Exeter I guess your spot on.
Cuthbo and Ferres I think will stay. Guessing but I expect us to get a new number 9, and a new Prop forward.
It’s all a guessing game lol

I’m also expecting at least the same to go. Golding has gone, Lunt has gone, expecting Myler and Merrin to go. The club are trying to shift players off at the moment.

Hi all I'm new to this but have followed the site for around a year. It's interesting to get everyone s view on the current squad and where it has all gone wrong sine 2015. The comments and rumors have kept me entertained through out listening to where you all get your info from.

As for Merrin I hope he stays as he has been great since he was made caption but I just can't see it. I'm not sure who they would replace him with but agree with all it needs to be a prop or a great hooker. I feel that a lot of the recruitment will know hinge on his decision as to where the club go and more than likely will affect the winter recruitment. Hope this makes sense for my first post.

That was first reported mid season, around the same time we were linked with him. Probably because Williams has signed for Canberra. But Id be very surprised now if he left after the season he’s had. He’s been outstanding week in week out and just played in a grand final. to be honest I don’t see how George Williams is going to get into that Canberra side.

But to answer your original question, sezer is a much better player than gale, and in his prime. But as someone mentioned, gale gets so much off the cap, for our overall cap management maybe gale will be better for Now while we try to build a squad ready to compete again

Welcome to the forum. It does make sense apart the bit where you wonder where people get their information from - most of it appears to be made up

NRL reporting that Sam Burgess’s shoulder could force retirement. Is that a scapegoat subject for him not being good enough for NRL then coming to Leeds? We can dream like.
