Would Holroyd and Oledzki offer more punch if spelled better? Would getting a Burgess/Thompson/Sutton type signing over the line allow us to get more out of what we already have?
I think a prop from those above, off quota, then half and Centre NFT, we look a decent bit better. Croft seems the half of choice from what’s available. Then maybe Iro at centre, perhaps less heralded so able to balance the cap better, and the romantic in me would love to see another Iro in Rhinos colours, I first starting supporting Leeds in the era of Iro and Innes playing for us.
Burgess/Thompson/Sutton, Oledzki, Holroyd, Lisone & Sangare does offer physicality.
Do think maybe we’re overloaded at second row, Martin, McDonnell, Bentley, Goudemand, Gannon, Donaldson.

He isn’t a Rhinos player anymore and unfortunately that’s that, theres not much more to be said is there.

Each poster will have their own opinion on how much more they want to discuss the subject.

It will no doubt be discussed for a long while yet, whenever he plays well for Wigan, it will be discussed, just like it was always going to be discussed when he continued to play well for us after the announcement he was leaving, to think otherwise is silly.

But if there is 'not much more to be said' i will assume you will be moving on and not responding to the next comment/discussion about the club making a mistake in not doing more to keep him

Ive just said they could have done more to keep him. Anyway i will leave it at that, as I say IMO it’s pointless going over and over it.

Ive not leapt to the club’s defence, I’ve repeatedly said they made a mistake, I’m just telling you what I was told, sorry if that doesn’t suit your narrative.

I'm sure the offer was fair or good.

I just wonder how late on it was offered. It seems common knowledge that we messed around several players by trying to leave it late on. At which point they were wanting out or had talks with other teams

Looks like Thompson to Weegan
