Isaac Luke, Sam Burgess, Tom Davies and Joe Greenwood in > Trent Merrin, Shaun Lunt, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Carl Ablett, Ashton Golding out.

That to me would show huge intent and put us in a much better position going forward.

Sam Burgess would be such an enormous signing.

I can't think of another player who would be even half as big a name.

Maybe someone from Union like Owen Farrell. But that's never going to happen.

I thought burgess wasn't as effective when he came back this year. Shame if he has to retire. If he's that crocked we shouldn't go near him, even though he'd be a big name signing.

I would much rather we went for Whitehead than Greenwood.
And if Burgess is crocked why would we want him?
Isaac Luke has always been my preference at hooker along with one good prop possibly Sutton.

Burgess has been in decline since RU sold him out. He would still be a top draw in SL but I don't know of he even wants to come back to the UK even when he is done playing.

Would be happy with the Wigan winger as we need pace in the backline. Luke would be a great hooker and then a go forward prop.

As for the back row, I think it looks ok if without Merrin. I would have ward, Martin and mellor with Donaldson, cuthbo, trout, sutty and Cam Smith as backup.
