He missed most of last season (although he played in the finals and the coach was very complimentary) but there is no pattern of injury. Jai Field missed almost an entire season for Wigan, so did Bevan French. Done alright since though. Playing near enough 20 games a year for some of the best sides in the world is not an indicator of lack of talent for me. Maybe you had Joey Manu and Latrell Mitchell on your shopping list, but it's just not, and never has been feasible.

Signings like this are just where we are. Putting together an almost-NRL side means taking on some risks and gambles at times, plus having some luck with the generation of junior talent domestically.

I’d be really happy with Momirovski from what I can make out, he has skill and is quick. Again, why I think I’d partner him with Fus on that right hand side because Fus could score a barrell full with a centre who can pass….

Frawley / McDonnell / Momirovski / Fus on that RHS is a very strong combination especially with Miller chiming in.

If it all hinges on the identity of the mystery (if there is one) half. That needs to be the best signing we make this year. Hopefully it purely comes down to ability and not the desire to pacify the fan base with a "name." Clearly both things aren't mutually exclusive.

Yep.

I’d like us to nail a 7 and then run with what we have at 9 because I don’t think we can do both. I don’t see the point in any available UK 9 above what we have, if it means likely losing CJ and/or JOC.

I’d like us to see if we can sign this Harvey Smith and maintain interest in Eseh if he isn’t done yet too. If he was a done deal already I would think it would have been officially announced, he isn’t that high profile that you’d hold it back for ST sales.

Same. 7 and big prop have to be priority.

Hooker only if it'd top quality,otherwise work hard on improving CJ and OC skills for next season.

No more project signings tho,unless it's trading Olpherts for one xD

I agree with this. Harvey Smith is a top talent and would thrive at Leeds as the chance is coming. As would Eseh IMO.

I’m ok with Tchambe leaving if we’ve had a fee. He’s really tall but beyond that not outrageously quick and needs to fill out a lot still. I like Frater and Webster, plus we have Turner, Edgell, Lumb and Ned McCormack who can all play wing. We have a bit of a glut of wingers can’t keep them all.

Realistically Handley is going to be lett wing for years still so aside from injury cover there is only right wing to inherit when and if Fus leaves (and he might not).

Excited and hopeful to see Simpson back in action next season too, he was on the verge of first grade before his knee went.
