It looks like we’ve been in discussions with Danny Levi, Sam Eseh, Brodie Croft, Harvey Smith and I’m sure others alongside Frawley, Miller and Hudson plus hopefully still Momirovski.

The club has been talking to players all year they haven’t “left it too late”.

We haven’t got who the fans want to see yet over the line. I don’t know whether we will but it’s not like RS and GH are intentionally sitting on their hands here.

And maybe not offering enough money to those players in the hope another golden generation is just around the corner.
I`m still hopeful we are going to announce a couple of statement players by the time the 15th October comes around.
Failing that then we really are in trouble.

Why the 15th of October? There’s still nearly 4 months to go before the 2024 season starts. Plenty of signings have happened later than the middle of October.

Honestly I think the club fully understands that we need to improve the squad still in key areas.

I have more faith in RS recruitment, Olpherts aside, than I have in Leeds for years. It’s whether GH can get the commercials done I guess.

RS clearly doesn’t rate Myler so much at FB, and we all know he’s a better FB than HB. We are clearly trying to replace both Austin and Sezer but we’ll see. Even a decent Queensland Cup player would be an upgrade on current options.

I dunno I just want us to make this next couple of signings and then get a solid pre-season in, and see the new team have a crack next year. This season was all over the place.

OK lets all put a pin in the calendar and revisit this to see if we have been on the right path all along, say 8 games into next season? If we're taking short kick offs left right and centre during preseason that pin moves to 4 games.
